  1. 研究金黃葡萄球菌抗藥性及致病機轉:金黃葡萄球菌為臨床上最重要致病菌之一,在台灣地區為院內感染排名第一的單一菌種,含有多種致病因子可造成健康的嚴重威脅。而多重抗藥性金黃葡萄球菌日益增加,使得臨床治療上更為棘手。本實驗室主要探討抗生素的刺激對多重抗藥性金黃葡萄球菌致病因子表現的影響,同時探討抗藥基因的調控機轉,並研究金黃葡萄球菌生物膜的調控機制。
  2. 研究金黃葡萄球菌與宿主間交互作用:我們有興趣探討金黃葡萄球菌在不同刺激下,致病因子在動物模式內的表現,以及宿主對於金黃葡萄球菌感染的免疫反應。
  3. 分子流行病學的研究:本實驗室與長庚醫院合作,進行多重抗藥性病原菌分子流行病學的研究,以助於院內感染的控制與監控新興抗藥性病原菌的產生。
